specifications make this the most unique boat on the market: The electrical
system of this boat is fully automated using three Allen-Bradley
Programmable Logic Controls, In the Marina the Boat runs on Shore Power,
When the boat leaves the dock, the automation takes over, The ships power
comes from the combination of 2 large inverters and 3 separate generators,
The current owner is an electrical guru, and has designed a fail proof
system ensuring easy operation of the boat, Several locations throughout the
boat will trigger the computer to start one of the generators and then shut
it down when not in use, creating less usage on the generators, For example,
with the generators in automatic mode the thermostat for the AC will trigger
a command to start the generator and cool the boat, When the switch is
thrown for the thrusters the generator fires and the thruster controls
become active. There is an entire list of these type of examples, the owner
has extensive manuals on this system, that seem overwhelming at first but
the system is very trouble free. The owner has agreed to spend up to two
days on the boat giving the new owner an all-embracing orientation.
